The Liberty Acres Collection is a series of 12 children's books (thus far) set on a farm in Maine.
The characters struggle with troubles but strive to overcome.
The books are meant to be educational, inspirational and entertaining.

I’m Kat McMann, an Irish girl who was born in the 60’s and raised in a small town (Kennebunk, Maine) with my mother, father and younger brother.
We had a dog and cats and a garden out back. I had a paper route, a guinea pig, chores and a whole street of kids to play with.

I was a clarinet player and loved to roller skate, skateboard and ride my bike.
Then, my parents bought a farm, just after I started high school and we moved out of town.
It was there I became a farm girl; a farm girl who fed livestock, plucked chickens, and stacked wood. I also found a whole road of new kids to play with and my best friend for life.
Graduating in the 80’s, I went on to a business college in Boston and worked in the accounting field for 25 years.
Though good with numbers, words have always been my passion.
I have always dreams of being a writer. I am so excited to share my stories with you!
